Greater Andover Days (Sep. 28- Oct. 1)
Greater Andover Days (GAD) is a family-friendly festival that occurs every year on the fourth weekend after Labor Day weekend. GAD has all types of fun including: a food court, KidFest, parade, car show, carnival, live entertainment, fireworks, a 5k Run, and more!
2023 Fall Parade of Homes (Sep. 30- Oct. 1, Oct. 7-8, Oct. 14-15)
Presented by the Wichita Area Builders Association, the Fall Parade of Homes is a series of weekends where new homes are open to the public. With over 100 homes on display and builder representatives on site (including Paul Gray Homes), the Parade is the absolute best opportunity to tour new homes in the Wichita area.
Great Plains Renaissance & Scottish Festival (Sep. 30- Oct. 1)
One weekend a year, knights, knaves, pirates and fairies visit Wichita at the Sedgwick County Park. This unique weekend has some of the best entertainment that Wichita has to offer. From fire breathers, jugglers, musicians, pipers and more, you’re sure to be entertained as you enjoy your turkey leg and mug of your favorite renaissance beverage.
ICT Bloktoberfest (Oct. 13-14)
The ICT Bloktoberfest is a kid- and dog-friendly weekend filled with live music, food, games, and beer. Enjoy a biergarten with over 100 beer options, food trucks, and live entertainment including music, contests, games, and more. This weekend is not one to miss!
Wild Lights Lantern Festival (Oct. 11- Dec. 17)
Sedgwick County Zoo’s Wild Lights Lantern Festival is a must-see in Wichita. As you walk through the illuminated zoo, you’ll experience one- of-a-kind Asian lantern sculptures. Festive drinks and snacks are available as you follow the white rabbit throughout the Zoo’s wild lights.
Haysville Fall Festival (Oct. 20-22)
Fall into fun at the Haysville Fall Festival. During the third weekend of October, Haysville transforms into a family-friendly fall wonderland filled with live music, craft booths, food vendors, a beer garden, carnival, car show, and more!
Wichita Asian Festival (Oct. 28)
For the 42nd year, the Wichita Asian Association is hosting their annual Asian Festival at Century II Convention & Exhibition Hall in downtown Wichita. This free festival promotes cultural awareness and provides a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in and appreciate Asian culture. With performances, the Miss Wichita Asian Festival Scholarship Pageant, and over 40 food and craft vendors, this event is one-of-a-kind and not to be missed.
